“Feeling more gratitude for this program lately, especially pertaining to my workouts. With all the craziness I’ve had going on since early July, I’ve really allowed myself to exercise in whatever way my body needs. It’s been mostly slow yoga and stretching. In the past, I would have “powered through” my typical workout routine with lots of cardio and lifting, even if my body screamed at me. I would have seen that “screaming” as just a normal part of physical exertion. And I wouldn’t have allowed myself to slow down simply because the rest of my life was chaotic. NOW I know the value of slowing down, and listening to my body. And that the BEST thing for me is to do is whatever my body needs me to do. Not constant cardio and lifting. So thank you, Paige, for teaching me this! My body thanks you too!
